Part of a wider project including a substantial extension to the main house, a coach house and landscaping works, this scheme was centred on the pool and poolhouse occupying a corner of the cottage garden.

The proposed poolhouse replaces an existing brick-built aviary and utilises the same material pallete so as to sit comfortably in the site context, whilst providing changing facilities, storage and an outdoor kitchen and pantry. A large-scale covered pergola is incorporated for entertaining.

The formal landscaping style builds on the existing established gardens and makes the most of the focused vistas both back to the dwelling and within the garden.
